Boy Gets Girl

Theresa, a professional single woman living in New York City, is self-confident and upbeat … that is, until a fateful blind date with a man named Tony. The two are obviously mismatched, but when she begs off on seeing him again, he refuses to take ‘no’ for an answer; and she starts to lose her cool. What follows parallels the familiar story of romantic pursuit of a reluctant female by an over-eager male – but suddenly more sinister forces enter the picture. Suspenseful, and at times chilling, this play is thought-provoking and thoroughly in tune with contemporary sensibilities.
