The Stagecrafters' Green Initiative

The Stagecrafters has begun a concerted effort to become a more environmentally responsible organization, particularly with respect to our energy usage. The articles in this section will detail this ongoing effort.

Beginning with the 2007-8 season, The Stagecrafters will be offering a 'green' option on subscriptions. This extra $2 will help us to reduce our environmental impact in two ways:
One dollar of every Green subscription will go toward the purchase of wind-generated electricity through PecoWind. (This section will soon include a link to how we chose $1)
The second dollar will be used by the theater for other energy-saving projects, including insulation, high-efficiency lighting and appliances, and setback thermostats.
