This is the story of four people who work in a Detroit automobile stamping factory. Their intersecting life stories are all beautifully rendered,full of nuances, complexities, tenderness, and heartbreak.

In the 1880s, the epoch that launched the miracle of electricity, Dr. Givings, a gentleman and a scientist, invents a device for treating female”hysteria”: the vibrator. Provocative and funny, this play provides excellent insight into the morals of the time.
